The Fundraising Partnership is a cause led face-to-face fundraising company. It is an honour and a privilege to work on behalf of such amazing charities and to be able to help them make a difference. All of us are passionate about and devoted to our charities. It is a key motivation for why our fundraisers apply and then fulfil the job of a face-to-face fundraiser.
Please read on and watch the videos to find out about the Tuckwell Chase Lottery and the impact they have, and also the work of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices. Your next job could be raising the funds that they need to make such a difference in your local community.
The role is working on behalf of Tuckwell Chase Lottery. This is a fantastic way to support local hospice care in London, Surrey and North East Hampshire. Tuckwell Chase Lottery supports two hospices in the local area providing a secure source of income for Phyllis Tuckwell and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Shooting Star needs to raise approximately £10 million a year with only around 30% coming from central government funding, these funds need to be raised for these essential hospices to continue to offer the outstanding care and services to those who need it most. Tuckwell Chase Lottery is a crucial fundraising initiative for both hospices.

We are proud with the support of our members to have donated over £1,275,000 to the Hospices in the past year.

65% of monies raised by the Tuckwell Chase Lottery goes directly to the Hospices, 5% covers the prize fund, 10% covers administration and the remaining 20% is invested to grow the lottery for future income.

Services provided at Shooting Star Children's Hospices
Family Support
We provide an extensive range of counselling, therapies and support groups for the whole family including parents, siblings and grandparents.

Bereavement support
We have a dedicated area at each hospice where a child can lay at rest, allowing their family to say goodbye in a familiar and supportive environment. Care does not stop after a child has died. We will continue to provide practical and emotional support for the entire family.

We offer individual and couple counselling as well as bereavement groups to support parents and other family members, including siblings and grandparents.

Respite
We offer both planned and emergency respite at our Guildford hospice, Christopher’s. During respite stays, we aim to provide children and young people with a range of fun, sensory and therapeutic activities, while parents can choose to stay at the hospice to enjoy family time together or get a complete break.

Symptom management and
paediatric palliative care
Our core mission is to provide expert nursing and medical care, including the management of difficult symptoms, for children at end of life.
Many of the children we support have very complex symptoms which may change over time, particularly towards the end of life. Our symptom and community nurses work to ensure families receive support in their preferred place of care – whether that’s at home, at one of our hospices or in hospital.
